Our Humble History
The Tour de Kirkwood started in the summer of 2001 as a way to let novice
athletes experience the thrill of a triathlon in a non-competitive environment.
Our main goal has always been to provide a challenging, safe, triathlon
experience, while raising money for deserving causes. Through a very generous
donation from Phase 5 Consulting, this year's triathlon will be able to donate
100% of all entry fees to charity. Thus far, the Tour de Kirkwood Triathlon has
raised money for a local Kirkwood residents injured daughter's hospital expenses,
The Wishing Well Foundation, The Backstoppers, Dirk's Fund, and St. Louis
Children's Home Society.
This year's triathlon will raise money for The Backstoppers and Saint Martha's
